The College is one of 50 public TVET colleges in South Africa operating under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The College has eight campuses, i.e. Ellis Park, Parktown, Alexandra, Riverlea, Langlaagte, Crown Mines, Smit Street and Troyville. The eight campuses are spread within a radius of approximately 10km from the Central Office in Parktown.

 The College offers national accredited programmes, in National Technical Education (NATED) and National Certificate (Vocational) NC(V). These programmes are quality assured by Umalusi, the Coucil for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training, to ensure a national standard.

In addition to the above programmes, the College also offers some skills programmes in collaboration with thr relevant Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA). The programmes are accredited and quality assured by the relevant SETA Education and Training Quality Assurance (ETQA) unit.

The College offers programmes in the following fields: Engineering Studies, Business Studies and Humanities.

The 2023 applications opens from the 1st of September 2022 and  closes on the 30th of November 2022
