Flavius Mareka TVET College Application 2023-2024

Sasolburg Technical College, Kroonstad Technical College and Mphohadi College of Education merged in 2000 to form Flavius Mareka TVET College. The College was named after a prominent figure in educational, cultural and political circles i.e. Mr Flavius Mareka. He lived in Kroonstad and passed away in 1965.

Flavius Mareka TVET College has three campuses.  The Sasolburg campus has two sites specializing in Engineering Studies and Business Studies courses respectively.  The other two campuses- Kroonstad campus and Mphohadi campus- are located in the Kroonstad area.

Apart from offering full-time and part-time formal programmes at its three campuses, Flavius Mareka TVET College is also proud of the fact that it takes education and training to communities.  A number of leadership and skills programmes are offered throughout the Free State province in smaller towns, such as Heilbron; Parys, Koppies and Villiers.

Here are the Flavius Mareka TVET College General Admission/Application Requirements

  1. You’ll need an email address to complete the application.
  2. South African applicants will need an ID number.  Foreign applicants will need their passport numbers.
  3. Once you have received your student number from KSD College, you will need to pay the application fee.
  4. Make sure your documents are scanned according to the guidelines.
  5. Your admission to KSD College is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements for your chosen qualification.
  6. If you don’t meet these requirements, you may want to consider alternative qualifications or possibly, if you qualify, an extended programme, enabling you to register for limited modules in your first year.
  7. Students who completed Grade 12 at the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) School of Tomorrow may no longer be accepted at KSD College.
  8. Some KSD College qualifications have limited spaces available. Meeting the general and / specific admission requirements for a qualification does not guarantee that you will be offered a space for the 2023 academic year.

The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Applicants are advised to keep a copy of the proof of fee payment for future reference.
